Once again, Melanie Phillips has absolutely nailed it.
She describes the current madness as the War against the West, which indeed it is with the attacks on society in America, Britain, Europe and indeed Australasia now.
The only chance we have according to Phillips, and I tend to agree, is Donald Trump.
His speech at Mount Rushmore should be the template for other centre right politicians of the West to go by. In NZ, opposition leader Judith Collins would do well to take note.
Phillips comments as below..
“Unconscious bias” is another Marxism-influenced concept which says in effect that, even if you don’t think in racist terms, you are still racist simply by virtue of being white. In other words, what you think you think is worthless. It’s only other people with approved views who can state what you actually think. This is therefore a mechanism for character assassination, brain-washing and oppression.
To quote from a couple of lines of Trumps outstanding “call to arms”, as it were, he says..
“One of their political weapons is cancel culture, driving people from their jobs, shaming dissenters, and demanding total submission from anyone who disagrees. This is the very definition of totalitarianism, and it is completely alien to our culture and to our values..”
“In our schools, our newsrooms, even our corporate boardrooms, there is a new far-left fascism that demands absolute allegiance. If you do not speak its language, perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and punished. It’s not going to happen to us.”
It is a brilliant speech, rubbished by the left wing Marxist managed media of course.
We would do well to take note and make every effort to ensure we do not follow this path.
